A graduate of Trinity College, Dublin, Dr Kent’s initial training was in the three Dublin maternity hospitals, during which time she was Assistant Master in the National Maternity Hospital. Thereafter she completed a Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship programme between Dublin (Rotunda Hospital/Coombe) and New York (Columbia University Medical Center), before being appointed to a consultant post in Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospitals, one of the United Kingdom’s leading maternity & fetal medicine units.

Along with her clinical work, Dr Kent has an established track record in clinical research, with multiple publications in leading obstetric journals, and has been an invited speaker at major national and international conferences.
